@admin Overall these scaling struggles could be a nice reminder to be more conscious about one's personal activity on social media:
- Settle and commit on the website you like the most, support it financially as one's pledge of membership
- Nurture the culture you want to be part of
- Grow its quality content; write more meaningful posts; delete your own clutter; mute noise -- especially with pictures and vids

For some unknown reason when typing on Lemmy "@nicfab.." the editor suggested mastodon.technology and I hadn't question it 🙈
@lung @laurent closed social media nowadays is drowned in bots talking to each other, so even when something goes viral, there's no way to tell if it's genuine interest. Not that lemmy immune to it, but lack of financial incentive plays a big role nonetheless.
We have a long way to go but you can already see how fediverse matures in front of our eyes and becomes real outlet for people socializing.
