It’s not about the amount of money, it’s the sentiment. Putting effort towards making another person’s life harder deserves mention.
Just because it’s normal doesn’t mean it shouldn’t be treated. Most illnesses are “normal” until we find a way to treat it. Some mothers have very severe postpartum that prevents them from caring for the baby.
