People in the political center and on the left tend to have a monolithic view of the far right. In reality, it is an expansive ecosystem that includes neo-Nazis, Christian nationalists, conspiracy theorists, anti-government militias, and white nationalists. These groups have some beliefs that conflict, but they are generally willing to overlook their differences. Still, not every group uses the same tactics to try to gain power.

A lesson the left doesn't ever seem to learn. The worst enemy of the left has been, is, and always will be, the left. The infighting is insane.

I think the problem is that the right is unified in hate. It's a very simple, very basic emotion, that's mixed together with tribalism and group think. It helps people create a bonds as well as an "us vs. them" mentality, which is very strong.

People on the left however are split because they don't want to hate, they want to be inclusive and tolerant. That however is very difficult when someone hates you and is intolerant. You can't be tolerant of intolerance, love hate, and include exclusiveness. However, being intolerant of intolerance, hating hate, and excluding exclusiveness creates a cognitive dissonance. The left is very capable of hate, exclusion, prejudice, etc. as they are humans, but because they aim to become "better" than the conservatives, liberals, etc. they create large divisions in their groups that can't overlook their differences.
And will forever be a problem of the left. Being better is difficult.

I'd be more worried about how close the end of life as we know it due to climate change is. 2050 is going to be a hoot.

The rest is probably slated to come around 2100 by which time we might not even have the society and tech to make those things, due to the breakdown we will have experienced long before then.

The researchers explain the extraordinary strengthening of the glass by the fact that forces acting on the glass from outside, which would normally lead to breakage or internal cracks, are now primarily directed against the paracrystalline structures. They dissolve areas of these structures and transform them back into an amorphous, random state.

If I'm reading this correctly, hitting the glass multiple times will make it as brittle as glass over time.

Will we be growing out houses someday? Make a scaffold for the stuff to grow in with all the pipework, cabling, and so on and so forth, then wait a few months?

They were pretending to be afraid of the "gay agenda" when we had to be afraid of the conservative agenda. These guys are nuts.

This reads like a copy of the steps taken by the NSDAP in Germany in the 1930s

AMD has better hardware support because they are more active in contributing than intel. Also, they have overtaken intel in terms of efficiency (price per watt, price per Hz)

Because it makes USAians think of sleeper agents, which are communist, which is anti-capitalist, ergo sleeper trains are made by communists to weaken the capitalist of Americania, which is immoral and deeply unpatriotic. /s

Seriously though, good video. Regulation is very important.
