Love that last line. Will remember.

.deb first and then flatpak if not available as on deb repo or if deb version is outdated. Never used appimage or snap. Rpm just as good as deb when I use Fedora. Flatpaks are much larger in size which is why I first go with the deb version.

The general "understanding" of left leaning ideologies in America is sooooo bad. Left == commies! Weird that America has lots of great relations with Socialist countries. Trump even want people from Denmark to move to America and yet pretty much all Dane's are socialists.

Agreed. I don't understand how training LLM on publicly available data is an issue. As you says, it doesn't copy the work. Rather the data is used as "inspiration" to stay in the art analogy.

Maybe I'm ignorant. Would love to be proven wrong. Right now it seems to me that failing media publishers are trying to do a money grab and use copyright as an argument, even though their data/material isn't getting illegally reproduced.

Where on the left? The X icon? Have you tried to press the X icon?

Bookmarks and collection are the spawn of the devil. Collections is not a desktop feature thus rendering sync useless. Just use bookmarks.

This should be redesigned. The dot-menu has close and bookmark options. There is more than enough to move these to the front. Dot-menu just adds more touch.

Thanks for the reference. Will try it out. Always had issues using openstreetmap for some reason. This seem more integrative rather than have the navigation app and the actual map being two separate entities.

You won't get long with that final statement. Consider that such statement fuels the flame of people who are against trans, drag etc etc. You can clearly that the original commenter is willing to engage in discussion.

Overnight isn't "right away". "I have to get to y right away!" "Sure! I'll just charge the car and you can leave tomorrow!".

Listen, I'm not saying that EVs are shit but they are currently not my cup of tea. It's just all this BS. Of course it's faster to refuel a car with petrol than to charge a battery. Would you also deny that it's faster for me to fill up a glass of water than you charging your phone? I ENVY the great fuel economy that EV owners get. This sucks for petrol cars.

I don't know what to do with you people.... We both have 5km range left. You plug in the cable juice and I plug in the gas to refuel. Who leaves the station first?

Hi all,

Edit: I use the KDE spin of Fedora 40 (updated after I posted this) and have a Windows 10 partition. However, I am not able to boot into Windows as it doesn't show up in GRUB.

I've been encountering some frustrating issues with my Fedora Linux installation and I'm hoping someone here might be able to offer some guidance or solutions. I'm gonna post them all in this thread - please tell me if I should break each issue into individual

  1. Time Setting: I've noticed that my system time doesn't seem to be setting correctly, even when I have automatic time synchronization enabled. The time in my BIOS is correct. Even when I try to set the time manually, it reverts back to the wrong settings.

  2. Persistent Wi-Fi Password Prompts: Despite having saved my Wi-Fi password in the connection settings within KDE, I'm constantly being asked to re-enter it every time I connect. It's a bit of a hassle, My credentials are saved.

  3. Browser Rendering Issues: When using both Chrome and Firefox on Fedora, I've noticed that certain websites, like Arduino.cc, don't load images or schematics properly. For example, when I try to access https://docs.arduino.cc/built-in-examples/basics/Blink/ the images fail to load. Strangely, I don't encounter this problem when using the same browsers on my Windows desktop. I have also tried to start Firefox in "fail safe" mode without addons enable but it does not make solve the issue.

  4. Dual Boot Trouble: During the installation process, I managed to break my dual boot to Windows, which didn't happen when I initially tried out Linux Mint. The Linux Mint installer automatically managed to make my system dual boot through GRUB. However, I probably messed up in the Fedora installation process, and now I don't know how to fix it.

  5. Driver Discovery: Despite enabling RPM Fusion for the Nvidia Driver, I cannot find the driver in the Discover app. Is there a step I might be missing, or a different approach I should take to locate and install the Nvidia driver?

My hwinfo, using hwinfo --short:, removed keyboard, mouse etc.

Hi all,

My friend and I are currently experiencing problems with the torrentio lite addon for stremio. When selecting an episode the addon stalls, showing the message "torrentio lite addon is still loading".

Anyone else experience this?

I have previously used Arduino Leonardo as it supports the keyboard.h library that enables HID keyboard presses. The latest update of the library is from May 5, 2022. Anyone knows if the Uno rev 4 supports the keyboard library?
