What makes no sense to me is that he adopted three native american children and then proceeded to try to commit genocide and ethnically cleanse the rest of the native americans. I say try to because it was a genocide and did a lot of irreparable damage but it wasn't 100% successful because there are still native Americans today who are fighting back.

Easily one of the most evil US presidents, and that's a pretty high standard because most of them were varying degrees of evil.

That makes sense that you misread it, we are on an ADHD community after all. I tend to misread stuff all of the time. Props to you for acknowledging that you misread it.

That's almost inconceivable that it was open source nowadays.

Same, and if I don't have tasks to stress about I suddenly am confused and have no idea what to do with my life and get bored.

Essentially I identified multiple cornbread variants such as hoecakes, hushpuppies, corn pone, and hot water cornbread. Also noted how cornbread itself varies both regionally and by class. People who were of the lower class tended to have cornbread that used less ingredients (usually cornmeal and water). Yankees usually make their cornbread like cake and put a lot of sugar and baking powder. There's also Mexican cornbread with pimentos, jalapeños, and cheese. Southern cornbread varies but usually has none or a teaspoon of sugar to offset the flavor of the shit cornmeal which is usually the only thing you can find in stores nowadays. Cornbread pone is more popular in the southern Appalachian mountains and directly came from the native Americans.

How would this be bad advice for things like household chores, personal projects, doing taxes, taking care of your own medical stuff, or voluntary responsible such as having a pet.

The language of the Kaw people. It's now extinct, but interestingly enough a US vice president spoke it as his native language.

Dead and dying languages are really sad to behold. It's not just for the sake of it being different, but because languages are a treasure trove of history, culture, and the way in which people process the world. It's nothing short of tragic when different languages are replaced with a standard (English) as a native language and the others are lost. It's just another facet of colonialism in action.

It's interesting to see a lot of previously thought to be dead and critically endangered languages make a comeback in recent years even though all of the native speakers are dead or very few exist. Really is a good example of how individual change and grassroots organization can make an impact in the world.
