"A show about food through the lens of science and history" as they describe it.
It's been one of my favorite podcasts since the very beginning with some episodes being truly fantastic and memorable.
This latest one about nutmeg is a really fun journey.
Also Nicky Twilley is a wonderful human.
I'm surprised this is the only show about food that's been suggested so far! Clearly not the focus here lmao
Society in general just seems to be in need of more "third spaces".
These non alcohol third spaces exist, even for queer people, but they're not initially evident like bars, and are generally based on an activity. Also there's not nearly as many as bars.
I hear you as I crunch on a delicious "Lion brownie edition"
You caught on to my covert anti nestle propaganda 🤭
But also the store brand after eights in Germany are great
Bahlsen Schoko-leibniz. The store brand ones don't have nearly as nice chocolate.
Conversely, after eights are garbage and the supermarket version comes with nicely tempered chocolate that does a very satisfying crackle when you bite.
Teleglitch: it's a top down sci Fi horror roguelite which has purposely poor graphics that are compensated by a great story and ambiance.
It's one of my favorite games that nobody has ever heard of
Yes! I just kinda posted it as a rethorical question. I think it's important to know where the money is really coming from :)
Sovereignty from whom though??
Turns out, the Germans.
Seems like a cool initiative
Bin neugierig, wie viel kostet es?
Sorry aber er ist noch Harry, arbeitet als Barista seit 2017 und kann immer noch kein Deutsch 😂
Oh yeah! Maybe it was issa rae and not ava. Whichever sad they never got their act together!
They owe it to their stans
