Please release everything on streaming as soon as it's made. Ever since covid I don't want to go to the theaters anymore.

I used to go a lot, even had one of those passes you pay a monthly fee and could go see any movie you wanted for free. But since covid happened I haven't been. This is partly because it got removed from my routine. Partly because I've been more aware of how I feel about sitting in a confined space with a lot of other people coughing, sneezing and farting. Also because I feel a lot of movies have suffered in quality the past few years. In the meanwhile my home setup has become very good, with comfortable reclining seats, big ass oled TV and an excellent sound system. I may have also reached an age I'm no longer the target demographic for a lot of movies. Even before covid I felt like movies and drinks/snacks/parking was getting way overpriced and with inflation this has gotten worse.

Rental stores have already died (which I am sad about). If theaters merely existed to serve a purpose which no longer exists, maybe it's time they died as well.

It isn't romantic, everything is overpriced, it's crowded as fuck and basically everything there is a scam. Now it has a lot of water, which is unique, but that water is also the open sewer. So when the temperature hits 25+ (and that's almost every day in the summer), the smell becomes awful.

Also another misconception: There aren't like a small number of genes and it's not like each gene has a specific function. There are soooooo many genes and they all interact in unique and interesting ways. We've been trying to figure out what genes do what and how they interact for decades and have had only limited success.

Think of it like a lot of source code, but the source code is millions of years old and written by junior devs on their first week whilst high. There is a lot of stuff in there that does nothing, or seems to do a lot of things only to be completely voided by some other piece of code. Or it actually does something, but on the macro scale it's pretty useless and doesn't matter at all. All the code is spaghetti code, it all interacts and somehow a human being is formed by the result. To put this into context: mice have about 80% of the same sourcecode as us.
