they probably fucked between supper and breakfast too, but then they slept, so you don’t see the effects on their face

Yes, this is from KC Green, author of the original This Is Fine.

Kinda hard to encode it in /etc/passwd, which separates entries with newlines and fields of an entry with colons.

Of course, you can activate some alternative user database in /etc/nsswitch.conf and then you can have your usernames with newlines in them, but at least half of the tools on your system that process usernames will take that personally…

ps outputs a newline after every entry. What are you trying to accomplish?

Do you have a username that contains a newline character? If so… why?!

The stations were originally built prepared for conversion into a full-blown subway (which, apart from the U6, has much higher platforms in Vienna): if you disembark at Eichenstraße, you have to walk up three steps before you reach the bottom of the escalator.

A bit odd that it has to lubricate grass, but who am I to judge?

They had the whole engine control circuitry replaced in 2010/2011, so they act and sound differently than way back when they were new (1977-1990).

I think they’re pretty well-made in general, but the high floor is certainly a relic of its time and there are no informational displays for passengers on the inside.

take a moment to consider your own mortality

I’m pretty glad that I don’t have to keep doing this forever…

He prevented WW3, fulfilling his traditionally masculine role as protector in a way many of us can only dream of. It sucks if that isn’t validation enough of his masculinity for him…
