Which version of Voyager are you on?
I'm on 2.18.5 with my Pixel 7 and everything is running fine for me.

Nice! If you've been able to avoid all the videos you're definitely in for a treat.
Oh, ok. I didn't realize he had been banned at one point on Spectrum. Doesn't look like it now since he was posting on there earlier today: https://robertsspaceindustries.com/spectrum/search?member=Camural (Link is currently messed up, you'll need to remove then re-add his name to see)
I do like most of his videos, he definitely points out a lot of valid concerns, although there are definitely a few that I disagree with him on.
For a second I thought you were talking about Camural. I'll have to look into some of Caracal's videos. As long as he's done some decent research and has valid criticism it's probably worth watching.
Wow, way to take the whole thing out of context with those initial clips.
The first part of the video focuses on CIG talking about how the core tech for server meshing worked. Then it transitions to the recent video posted today where they were discussing RMQ and all of the issues that they ran into once they tried to scale up the servers to handle hundreds of players.

These are 2 very different things and this video is either purposefully misrepresenting what was being said, or else they are doing a terrible job at understanding what is being talked about.
Either way I would not rely on "Jack Reacher" being a reliable source of information on any video game if this is the kind of content he puts out.
Every time you think you fixed it... You go deeper down the rabbit hole of what's causing issues to bubble up.
Still, it's great to see that they're making a lot of progress on this front.
Yeah. The mission can be shared, and it goes a lot faster with a buddy.
There are 2 options for the missions, one for hauling cargo, and the other for defending a cargo hauler being attacked.
I haven't tried the cargo hauling mission yet, but I'd assume it's similar to the xenothreat cargo hauling where it would involve a little ship-to-ship combat and some FPS once you board the wrecked ship.
For the defend the cargo hauler mission, it's soloable with a light fighter, it just takes a little longer to destroy some of the larger ships that might spawn in. They must have lowered the accuracy of the NPCs for this mission so that they weren't hitting the NPC that you're trying to defend. I was flying around in a Corsair and the NPCs were barely landing any shots on me. There are probably 10-20 enemy ships, the vast majority are light fighters (mostly M50s, Buccaneers, Hornets, Gladius, and maybe a Scythe or a Talon or two). There will also be a few medium sized ships like some Prowlers or the Freelancer Max, and maybe one larger ship like the MSR. Even if I took a while to destroy the ships, they never seemed to be able to destroy the NPC Cargo Hauler that I was supposed to defend.
The servers were running fine for me on the 3 or so that I tried out yesterday. I only encountered 1 server error (which will fail the mission once the server recovers).
Ah, ok I read into the spectrum thread a bit more.
It looks like we will be able to get additional rewards as the event moves from Phase to Phase:
Are there any other rewards for completing the event?
► Yes! We have many permanent rewards for this planned. However, to get every reward, you have to play all of it and finish it BEFORE 4.0 goes Live.
But it sounds like we have to finish everything for the ship weapons... Or else maybe it's just to complete phase 1?
Confront the ruthless pirates terrorizing the Stanton system, defend its people, and (if you complete the whole event before 4.0 goes live) exclusive permanent in-game ship weapons will be yours!
They didn't specofy a date for 4.0, but I wouldn't expect it to release this year with the current state of the EPTU.
I could see it opening up to the PTU for the wider player audience, but if they rush it out by Christmas I would expect it to still be a broken mess.
Stability wise, 4.0 has gotten a lot better, but it feels like there are so many issues (such as missions not working properly)... Maybe I'll change my mind after they roll out the new 4.0 patch today, but I hope they take the time to fix up a lot of the bugs we've been reporting.
Ackshully... It should be: "AaaS".
