Alright let's do this Lemmy pals

  1. Socrates willingly takes hemlock after being cancelled for going viral

  2. Plato covers Socrates in written text (and goes viral)

  3. Aristotle does his own thing... getting fuzzy

Do those goalposts have little feet on them?

"Democrats wouldn't do this"

Democrats do this

"No, not like that"

Look, I said it in a dumb meme format so you know it's true

(I appreciate you for posting here, just making fun of you 😊)

Anyone know if The Finals counts as a "live service" game? It's free to play and I think it's fantastic - both the game and the fact it's free.

I just don't play games enough to justify the huge asking prices anymore. The last games I paid for were COD MW2 and Cyberpunk and I doubt I'll ever drop $70+ for a game again, especially when there's games like splitgate and whatnot that are free (not that I ever tried the new one. lol)

They made one and it got canceled - I assume due to low number of viewers

I've always liked the daily show, regardless of host, but I don't really enjoy watching Jordan talk to morons anymore. Shit's too sad and scary now. the whole point is to just make fun of them and laugh and it's just really not as funny anymore

Anyone seen that crackhead Barney on insta? Now that shit is nuts. That's definitely something I'll admit I've found funny. lol

Idk how it could. Haven't tons of companies been announcing layoffs for like tens of thousands of workers for a few years now?

Idk, I just skimmed it again. It definitely seems like it's focused on a woman's book about the impact the electoral process has on "affordable homes".

A new book from Jerusalem Demsas explores how local elections, community meetings and other democratic structures brought on a national shortage of affordable homes.

That said, I agree with all the general points you mentioned

What a joke 😅

Yeah, I couldn't believe the ridiculous narrative either. After the reading the article though, it at least makes some sense for me as a Mexican-American dude. It's mainly white people doing better and I guess that totally tracks (also helps explains why so many people here are ready to believe it). I honestly sometimes forget to remind myself "American" hardly ever means all Americans

That said, it's wild how little discussion there is on this here and how any mention of frustration with the accepted narrative results in others thinking you're just a bitter idiot, or something

Yeah, idk. They'll show the important scenes. Just not entirely or anything. lol

I was mostly joking but it's def an option. It works if you just want the jist of the story and don't really care about the acting or basically anything else

Maybe just think about it for like a full minute..

What do you think happens when there are millions of people living in squalor under fascist rule within driving/walking distance of another country's borders?
