Just for you sorry, put it in the wrong spot, but I'm leaving it there because Dick.

I'm A-. Gave blood a few times when I was younger and it was always hard because my veins don't obligingly pop up. They just took a punt and stuck it in, and if that didn't work they'd try somewhere nearby. The last time I had a few needle marks on my arm for quite a while, made me feel self conscious as I had to work in short sleeves, and I worked at the kind of place where teaspoons went missing on the regular, not a good look. Looking back I feel bad about being a wuss.

It just sounds too hard. Edit: and too expensive .Won't hurt to miss one year, and they obviously weren't thinking of you when these plans were being made. Christmas is hard enough and expensive enough without these hoops.

It's definitely not worth being "loyal" to an insurance company. My partner was with RACV for years, but his last bill I just noped at. He was all "but my silver loyalty card and discounts" πŸ€¦πŸΌβ€β™€οΈShopped around and got a deal that was exactly the same coverage and T's & C's for almost $1,000 less. I asked, "is your loyalty worth a thousand bucks?" πŸ˜†

So that's why I'm in a flatline mood today.. it's just hung over me like a cloud all yesterday evening and today. I didn't realise why until you said.

Ugh, that smug dipshit Elon Putzk will be positively gloating.. ugh, the thought is personally repulsive. How could they not love Tim Walz? Did they really want to not vote for a coloured woman so hard that they voted for a racist rapist delusional carny sheisty pathological liar insteadβ€½ Jesus Christmas cookie Christ.

Got together all Elder's school uniforms from the high school he started at (some things he never wore) and whatever text books, scientific calculator and unused stationery etc there was. Bagged it up and took it to a friend's house (whose son is starting at that school next year 😬) and just said, "here you go!" She knew I was bringing some stuff around but was pleasantly surprised. I looked into selling it but then I've got people coming to the house and only wanting some of it and being annoying.. I decided I'd rather just give it away to someone who will appreciate it and isn't a pain in the arse! I also feel sorry for them; they've got no family here and they both work really hard and one whole wage goes on rent. Felt good. Now all that's left is to get the remaining stuff out of his old locker, they can have that too. I've contacted the school twice and they were going to contact me back to arrange a time but just never do. Mr P dropped in one day to do it and they didn't have any spare person to accompany him while doing it, so it couldn't be done πŸ˜’
