This is good news for broke people like me. With the used ev credit I can get into an ev for under 15k with a few years left on the battery warranty.

The volatility of gasoline prices can be a huge blow to poor households.

This doesn't seem so bad. I live in the PNW and have seen people absolutely hauling ass on home-made e-bikes and scooters, easily 40mph and passing traffic in the bike lane.

I'm not against people building their own e-bikes, but at some point it's not an e-bike, it's a motorcycle, and they need to be in traffic and ideally have the brakes to match.

Of note is that if this is the command module, it was built by Rockwell, parts of which eventually become Boeing. So the stickies track.

I hear what you're saying, and black people are targeted disproportionally for these sorts of extra judicial killings, but there are plenty of videos of white people being executed by cops and also facing the same cushy "repercussions".

If minorities aren't safe then nobody is safe.

I'm just saying I've had the shit beat out of me a few times, and based on my experience ain't no way I'm gonna analyze somebody's arm angle, stance, gait, wind speed, and other atmospheric conditions like I'm some fucking shonen anime fighting savant in 4 seconds.

Hell I don't think I could've gotten off a shot in 4 seconds, I'd be laid out by this kid and he'd be wailing on me.

Maybe you've had amazing training on this front and could make such a calculus, but most people don't, and cops aren't much better trained than regular people.

I wouldn’t say always. The Super Nintendo, N64, and GameCube were more advanced in terms of graphical capabilities compared to many of their competitors.

Either you’ve never been swung on in your life, or you were incapable of absorbing any learnings from it.

How was that tool clearly non lethal? If fists are potentially lethal, then a long sturdy tool sure as hell is.

This book used to be one of my favorites, but now it’s in the horror/thriller section for some reason and it’s no longer my jam.

What does Ukraine and the weapons they use have to do with Israel?

Because Ukraine is accomplishing the switch and hybridization between weapon ecosystems under duress, whereas Israel will have time to do so. If Ukraine can rig Migs to fire western missiles, Israel can adapt S-400 to suit their needs.

It is not an idle threat when Bibi invites Putin over for tea, and it is not an impossibility for them to switch over.

Now, let's say they do have difficulty switching over to Russian or Chinese weapons if the US cuts them off. You don't think Iran or another of Israel's neighbors won't try to take advantage? Then what? How many people will die in that conflict? And if their backs are against the wall, how much restraint will Israel show before launching a nuke?

There are no easy answers here. Plenty of easy idealism though.
