Link worked fine for me.

I've been talking about this issue for years, though not very loudly since it's considered a "conspiracy theory". Interesting that it's starting to be taken more seriously. Must be about to happen on a level that can't be ignored, if it isn't already. Real nightmare-fuel. (Pun intended.)

Important to clarify we're also gonna drown. Drowning and starving while we're burning. Thanks so much capitalism and petrochemicals. Where would we be without you? Ah, yeah, not in hell. Can't have an actually decent world, nope, nuh uh. That's for suckers, I guess.

The ocean will starve to death. People will too. Earth is rapidly becoming a wasteland. Often seems like too few seem to care and that's probably just going to become more true as time goes on. It's so deeply horrible.

Absolutely vile. There is no level of evil that these petrochemical corporations won't stoop to. I truly can't fathom how people directly involved live with themselves.

Ikr, why is it so much to ask? People are still buying shitty products because they feel they need them for quality of life? Make the products and their producers not shitty. It's a simple solution and, in comparison to blaming the consumer, an effective one too.

Guess I have to like NASA taking my money so they can go fuck up space while they help fuck up our planet, now that I got dislikes. What will happen if people don't like me hating an agency designed to waste assets? Oh, that's right. You'll get what you fucking deserve. Win-win.

Mixed market (socialism) still sucks ass in the long run. What I've seen of the situation in the EU the last decade has proven to me that it's a pipe dream. It's better than just capitalism, but it's not enough. It's weak to fascism (authoritarian capitalism). You wanna take meat off the menu? Seize production. It's well past the time for half measures, especially if intending on policies like this.

I agree. As a metaphor, we have to fix the foundation or the house is destined to collapse. Don't get me wrong, clean energy is an important step. I approve of people trying to help, even if that attempt may unfortunately be rooted in personal greed. The problem is people are using that help to obfuscate the root issues, which are hierarchy and capitalism. Ignorance isn't bliss. It's death.

Sustainability is absolutely impossible to achieve through capitalism, even if you instantly murder most all of the population, because of the very nature of how it views growth. It sees accumulation as being over wisdom and health, when it even considers the latter to be growth at all. Population is the way it is because of capitalism. Worse yet, we as a species are forced to do unethical reduction through war/murder/whatever if nature doesn't take care of it for us, because of this "need" for constant accumulation. It's a bad system. Don't hate the player if you aren't going to hate the game.

It's a construct.
