Least fascist “progressive”

Also, the U.S. is not a nation— if I’m not mistaken, a nation is a group of people with common values, history, customs, and background, which doesn’t really describe the U.S.

If anything, it is a prison of nations, notably of groups such as Black Americans and Indigenous Americans.

Atheism is simply a lack of belief in deities, nothing more, nothing less. I personally think that to say someone is an atheist is like saying that someone is a not-a-football player.

What people mean by “Reddit atheism” or “New Atheism” or whatever other similar term is a particular brand of liberal, individualist atheists who make their bitterness toward religions their entire personality.

They treat religion as the root of all evil— instead of seeing class as the main perpetrator of conflict and driving force in history, they see religion as that, even though religion is but one aspect (one that is ultimately inferior to class and surprisingly to a few others) of human societies and civilizations.

The reason they get shit on so much is that they tend to be smug, sanctimonious, wannabe intellectual debatebros, and I’ve noticed that much of what characterizes the “Reddit atheist” also characterizes internet liberals.

My account never got banned, I just got tired of looking at political shit— especially at liberal/reactionary nonsense— every single day, so I deleted it and came over here, where we don’t put up with as much bullshit as we did over there.

I did get banned from a bunch of subs, though.

One of my favorite bans was when r/196 banned me for linking the whole Tank Man video under a “muh Tiny Moon Square” meme, which clearly shows the “Tank Man” leaving without so much as a scratch, a level of restraint that American police don’t show to anyone except to fascist wankers.

You alone are proof that re-education is going to be necessary during or after the revolution

They are real, and living in America, these ridiculously oversized SUVs and pick-up trucks are well over half of the cars I see on the road, and I guarantee none of their owners use them for anything more than going to and from their kids’ school, to buy groceries, or to compensate for something.

Because we minorities are humans at the end of the day, nothing more, nothing less.

White people are not the only ones capable of bigotry or prejudice, and they are also not the only ones capable of the evils that one group’s hatred, aversion, or mistrust of another can beget— it just so happens that they were the ones who ended up with enough political/economic power to act on their hostility to other groups on such a large scale in the current era.

For example, I’m from a Mexican family and my paternal grandparents can sometimes be pretty racist. Hell, if I’m honest, I myself used to have prejudices and bigotries that I’m not too proud of.

But remember, it’s those Third-World people who probably consume far less in a lifetime than we do in a week who are overpopulated and causing environmental problems! /s

I can’t tell you how much I hate all those unnecessarily gigantic pickups and SUVs, and it doesn’t help that I live in the US, where that’s like 80% of cars I see daily.

I rarely ever see more than 2 people riding that kind of borderline tank of a car, so it’s not like most people who drive them even need them— they’re often nothing more than gas-guzzling, environment-destroying status symbols for bougie types.
