True. I have a lot of friends who dated abusers AFTER they abused someone else, and parrotted the "his ex was a psycho and made it all up" line.

Sometimes the ex is a psycho, but like 99% of the time they aren't.

If 35 different people say they were sexually assaulted by someone then the chances that all of them are untrue is miniscule.

Bonus points for his fans shouting about how he wasn't convicted so "He was totally cleared of all that, they're just jealous psychos!"

Because everyone knows sexual assault is notoriously well dealt with.

Nobody really does physical banking any more so the banks are closing their physical branches. There's a lot of backlash because a few people can't use online banking, it's difficult because the numbers are small and it's hard to justify staffing a full building when 5 customers turn up each day.

It's not brexit related.

Both my parents have always worked but I had friends as a kid whose dad worked low paid factory jobs, moms didn't work and they weren't really struggling. Not like you see today anyway, no food banks or getting evicted, they might have had the tesco no frills crisps.

There were definitely worse things, but we all had way more money. In the 90's a person on a minimum wage job could get a mortgage, can you imagine?

Stayed for a few beers and my clothes were absolutely reeking afterwards lol.

That used to be standard. I remember waking up hungover overwhelmed by the smell of my clothes from the night before on my bedroom floor. And your hair!! You needed to wash that ASAP.

Funnily enough I never noticed it on the night really, only the next day.

That looks awful, but in a fire situation you could absolutely bust them. Plexiglass is super brittle.

But the question for me is why? Like do they have so much theft that 3 foot barriers are pointless? Maybe they need to hire some door people? They're making people less safe for no reason.

They didn't say that. They said Starmer is basically a moderate tory, which is accurate.

I’m realistic. I’m also more inclined to vote centre ground of politics rather than far left or far right. And it seems the rest of the UK electorate are like that too

Not true at all, we've had progressively further right parties for years. You can't compare the current tories to John Majors.

I'm interested what kind of franchise you ran, so like was it a big national chain? Or a small thing with a few locations? I wonder whether either is better.

They're comparing him to moderate tories, think Ken Clarke or Rory Stewart.
