Eh, got lost looking for ground ginger. Started in the spice aisle, but they were out, so some directed me to the produce area (apparently didn't realize I didn't want whole ginger). After a bit more wandering, I turned some up in the Asian food section.

Unironically saw this meme while in line after having just done that.

Naw, so my line of thinking:

"People" wouldn't say that tankies are leftists
Tankies would say that they are leftists
Thusly, tankies must not be people

I do want to say that I mean this completely in jest. While I don't like nor get along with tankies types, I do understand there is a fundamental level of human respect that they still deserve (I just really liked the quick hitting punch line).

Like, I don't want to sound like a corporate shill, but Valve has been the most consumer friendly corporation I've ever seen. Even if they do meet the criteria for a monopoly, they are the model of what a company that finds itself as The Monopoly should be, in my opinion.

I have no intent to sign up for this "lawsuit", even though I stand to gain some $500 from it. I hope Steam lives long and prospers.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but this looks like a major _de-_enshitification step on the part of Steam.

Like, you're not wrong, but even if Steam hadn't changed in the last 5-10 years, it would probably still be the best digital store front out there.

I wish I'd saved it, but I've legit seen tankies argue that we'd be better off if the Confederates had won the American Civil War (the line of thinking was that conditions would have been so bad with slavery continued that a popular/Marxist revolution would have come about in those states by now vs. capitalism continuing).

Zac Efron.

The girl I was crushing on in high school crushed on him really hard as he appeared in High School Musical. I spent wayyyy too much of my youth trying to emulate Zac Efron as a result. Eventually, that whole style just kinda became my whole style. Seems like a good fit.
