This is some good news - the emerald ash borer is doing a lot of damage over here too.

I picked up some pieces of ash a neighbor had cut up so I could dry it for future projects, and it was full of borer holes. Feels like watching the chestnuts disappear a couple generations ago. Any hope of averting it is welcome

Here in the US they are releasing parasitic wasps to help control them. I'm curious how effective they will be. We don't have them in my area yet but I know it's a big deal in many areas.
