Song contest, but we can only sing patriotic songs, and only the lame ones, like "America the Beautiful"

The objective metric is how high and long you can draw out notes.

There's supposed to be but partisanship ruins it. Recently, Oklahoma always wins because everyone can agree it's OK.

Are they allowed to just always do that Rodgers and Hammerstein number each year or are they forced to switch it up?
