For the love of all that's right in the world, what in the ever living hell is that website design...

It's like some kind of mad fever nightmare from a 2000s web designer with a crack habit.

I actually like it. The content is also correctly tagged with <article> so you can use your browser's reader mode if you find the site uncomfortable to read, unlike some other retro-looking sites.

Because it's actually a well structured site, that's also designed responsively just with many retro design and visual choices. It's also blazing fast. I quite like it.

Reading it on mobile so not seeing anything wrong here, just black background and white text, like I've always liked.

I just checked on mobile, it's horribly laggy for scrolling but you're right, it is vastly better than on desktop.

It worked perfectly for me, as opposed to a lot of the bloated web. Looks great on mobile at least. Easy to read. The main page is a bit chaotic but still loads quickly.
