Just yesterday I started watching a new anime on Netflix which is about cooking food from the monsters killed in a dungeon.
I loved that series as a manga. Not watched the adaptation yet.
But it does make sense in a way. Dragon steak has been a trope for decades.
It's just that some monsters are sentient... That raises questions when you put them on the menu.
I opened two buried chests with fish in them in Kuo-toa land. I don't care how freshly buried it was, that fish is rancid long before the mound of dirt gets flattened.
