Who receives a swan('s carcass?) from three teenagers and just...cooks it, no questions asked? Even if they're family that's...why? Like, whatever answer they gave for having it in the first place probably should've tipped you off that they'd done something illegal, seeing as Syracuse is next door to Manlius you've probably heard or even seen these things in that pond, and you've probably been drilled by signage that doing stuff to these birds in New York state is illegal. Dumbfucks, all of those involved.

It was an Aunt? Of one of the teenagers. Poor choices all around.

Don't swans mate for life? What of her bird spouse?

I'm almost impressed with the lads being able to grab the swan without it breaking their arms.

I have no knowledge of the family, but when people get hungry enough, they'll eat anything. Especially large birds. Poverty makes people desperate.

However, as I said: I have no idea whether these were desperate poor people (of which there are many in the US) or just unconscionable asshole fucks (of which there are almost as many).

Edit: typos. I was not drunk, despite the many errors.

I have it on good authority that swan taste just like goose.
