And then he got shot the end
Nonsense
funny, silly, whatevs.
Rules
keep it comedic
That's the happy ending
Quite an overreaction, isn't it?
If you are given more responsibilities than you can handle on a job, you don't go shooting your boss. You do whatever you can handle, and don't care about the rest.
Lisa, if you don't like your job you don't strike, you just go in every day and do it really half-assed - that's the American way.
Ok, go ahead shooting people then.
someone didn't get the simpsons reference
And then you get fired for underperforming, and then you’re explaining to your child that they’ll just have to keep painfully coughing because there’s no insurance to pay for the inhaler anymore.
At that point you're getting fired no matter what. Get an exit plan going.
You buy boot flavored lollipops too?
At my last job, they merged two management positions into one, and refused to give me a raise for doing both jobs. I had to turn in my resignation to get a 10% raise.
i had the a similar experience, but with a different end. i begged for a raise because i was underpaid, and working 60+ hours a week in several different contexts for a small county government.. the board denied it, so i went and found a new job and was prepping to leave. thats when they begged me to stay. when the county admin specifically asked what he could do to make me stay i said 'you can resign', knowing i was already outta there.
they attempted to outsource my job for a month or so, and then promptly hired 2 people to replace me.
