Cops don't even really solve crimes all that much
Last I checked, the average rate of solved cases across the US was 50%. I wish I could only do my job half the time and get a huge salary, while remaining a safer job than a cab driver.

I can say for certain I didn't see nothing. From six states away.
That's often why criminals remains at large. Somebody knows what happened in this case, but telling would probably implicate themselves, not to mention risk the guy's revenge.

I live in NYC. You see 'Wanted' posters all the time. Most often it's a missing person. Occasionally it's for the criminal.
I would never snitch on this hero or the dudes who shoot at ~~Hit~~-- Trump.
The antidote to crowdsourcing identification is mass surveillance. Nobody wants that.
