The long-life version is designed to last up to 1.2 million miles, with a capacity of 600 kWh and a range of 310 miles on a single charge.

The long-range version extends the range up to 500 miles with a 1,000 kWh capacity

Not bad. Not bad at all. I wonder how they test battery degredation in an accelerated timeframe?

Batteries degrade with repeated charge cycles along a well-known curve:

By repeated charge/discharge cycles at higher voltages, they can map out the expected bend in the curve at standard voltages with a much smaller number of cycles.
