All the people who were saying "But logically, Harris is still the best option" really misunderstand how people vote.

People vote with their heart. They have to be enthusiastic about their candidate. If they aren't enthusiastic, they stay home.

There was a burst of enthusiasm for Harris when she was nominated, because people thought she might do something about Gaza. That enthusiasm evaporated when we realized she probably wouldn't.

Everyone who didn't vote for Harris enthusiastically allowed Donald "wants Israel to 'win'" Trump to return to office.

And I get what you're saying, most people don't vote with their brain, but I'm just saying it's frustrating how shortsighted it is that left-leaning people didn't vote for Harris.
