So, I did what I’ve done during my entire 40 year career—I tried to warn people. Except that the warning was not well received by everyone. A person accused me of being a “climate militant,” a suggestion that I’m embellishing extreme weather threats to drive an agenda. Another simply said that my predictions were “an exaggeration.”

But it wasn’t an exaggeration.

Why did people so quickly lose the ability to think, when fake news came around and became part of our lives?

Yeah looking at those numbers US has 1 a year now but it used to be 1 or 2 a decade. With just 3 degrees of water temp increase. Even if global warning is fake, you think they would consider methods to cool the planet for survival sake.

Can someone help me understand what this is saying? Does it read strangely to anyone else?

Is it saying that because the water temps were 3 degrees hotter than average the storm was able to rapidly intensify the way that it did? I think what’s throwing me off is the word “condition”. What specifically is the condition here?
