That... actually would be a genius strategy to force the issue of presidential immunity to be resolved. Time to get biden a 30 day prison sentence for reckless driving his Camero, doing doughnuts on the national mall.

That seems a bit outrageous if it's true.

Edit: from what I can tell, former presidents on public roads is a secret service no-go. Still absolutely crazy.

Bush Jr has a closed trail on his ranch that he's allowed to drive on. Any public roads, he's getting chauffered by the Secret Service.
