För mig är det att man aldrig försöker socialisera och det är därför väldigt vanligt att man har samma vänner sen högstadiet. Jag tycker att det är väldigt dåligt och att de flesta av oss svenskar ser på att vara social som något som inte är nödvändigt.

That it is an ethnic State with no scope for people descended from outside Sweden to be both Swedish nationalists and proud of their ethnic heritage, unlike America. There is no concept similar to "Irish Americans" and "Japanese Americans" in Sweden. It is a deeply ethnic state which was historically built on the assumption that Sweden would never receive large scale settlement from outside (unlike the US, Canada, Australia). Although most "Old World" countries are like this with the possible exception of England.

Can you clarify further - what do you mean by scope? Descendants of imigrants to Sweden can be proud of where they descend from and be proud of being Swedish at the same time, and they are not forbidden from it. They are not called "polsk svensk" but I suppose that is their choice? Or maybe they just aren't bothered? If they do call themselves that, I don't imagine anyone wouldn't be cool with that?
