To cast them, it uses libvegs however. It is not available in any standard package libraries, so just quickly build it from source

But what about bottom left? That looks like a cast-iron electric cooktop

Is that a stove with gas and electric?

First introduced in the late 1970s as an effort to boost low voter turnout, postal voting was anchored in Swiss law in 1994. By 2006, all 26 cantons had introduced functioning systems.

“It works well, so there’s not much debate about it,” says Uwe Serdült, a political scientist at the University of Zurich. Cantons report that around 90% of citizens now vote by post, and some have reported figures up to 97% (Aargau, 2017). There were debates about security in the early years of postal voting, Serdült says – as there are now around e-voting. But over the years it has been accepted, largely due to the high levels of trust in Switzerland – “vis-à-vis the state, and in the postal system”.

Nice!

I still find it weird that voting by mail is not more common in the US (and other countries). Here in Switzerland, 90% of votes are done by mail and it works great.

I had the Miyoo Mini V2 for some time now and was pretty happy with the little thing. I now also got the Plus, since the V2 felt a bit too small and multiplayer options seem really fun via netplay.

When I play on the Plus, especially in GBA games, the FPS is considerably lower than on the V2. E.g. in Pokemon Emerald, I get 300+ on the V2, but only 100-150 on the Plus when fat-forwarding. I set the fast-forward speed to “Unlimited” in OnionOS settings for both. On the Plus, it also feels a lot choppier.

Does anyone have similar experiences?

I for my self love Chana Masala, could eat it every day!

Basically:

  • Onions
  • Chickpeas
  • (Canned) Tomatoes
  • Vegan Yoghurt
  • Garam Masala

Served with basmati rice

Feels relevant and revealed some surprising things for me!

Witcher Soundtrack (self.thewitcher)

From the games and shows, which soundtrack do you like the most?

The music from the Netflix series is kinda the best thing about it. But Witcher 3 is my favorite. The older games are also nice, but just really feel like game music from the 2000s. I don't like the music from the Blood Origins, but also haven't watched it...

In Germany, animal farms are declining. Around -30% since 1990 for Swines and -36% for dairy cows since 2013.

Minus 11% ist in einem Jahr schon beachtlich. Ich denke da kommt die nächsten Jahre noch automatisch einiges dazu, so wie die Preise für vegane Alternativen fallen

Maybe some of you don't know about Bookwyrm yet (I have seen some links in this community though!). It is like GoodReads for tracking and sharing your reading, finding lists and rate books, but it is federated just like Lemmy :)
