@Kyoyeou The Fediverse is still young and it needs your help to balance all the negativity it attracts. You've got to contribute content to the Fediverse yourself. I wanted to see more stuff that floats in the air and that community didn't exist, so I made my own subreddit and then my own Kbin community.
You might have seen my !FloatingIsFun@fedia.io in recent months when a Lemmy bug gave it more exposure than it probably deserved. I try my best to make Floating Is Fun interesting to follow.
@Kyoyeou If you like escapism, consider !imaginarydirectory@lemm.ee 's listings. It'll get really interesting once @Martineski remakes his communities that used to be on lemmy.fmhy.ml. If join the Imaginary Network myself if I didn't post videos and real-life examples of floating sometimes.
Lemmy and Kbin are new and buggy, but I embrace the jank and work around it. I actually had to reply to you with my Mastodon account here because it didn't work the first time. It gets better. Don't give up!
