You are right. That means we better hurry !

Totally agree, hence, the need for organized non-institutional action ๐. In institutional terms, the difference between a bunch of eco-anarchist and eco-terrorist is pretty nebulous to say the truth!
Agree. And it is an unnecessary wall to go through for most people. Printing a Menu is really simple.
Great! I'm mostly a computer nerd so, I haven't develop any woodworking skills to say the truth. It would really help me if you could share the "ABC" or "Woodworking 101" ๐ that way we can help introduce most of the newbies of the DIY communities to the kind of work you do.
And please, do share your desk repairing process ! Love those before and afters.
Remember that, capitalization is important for people looking for those nice profits. And earnings come from differential capitalization. The issue was never that they are or not profitable, but if the 'big capitalists' are even willing to participate in making 'abundance' even a possibility.
I'm pretty sure that if we put our time and effort in organize ourselves we can handle most of the problem with power, but trying to get them to work in the "green capitalist" way is just not understanding how capitalism works. Its about control of production, not some ambiguous idea of a free-market with god-like awareness.
Hope these technologies develop faster, yet, I know if they are even implemented around the world with the idea to improve peoples lives: will not be under the state of capital.
The think with 'justice' is that's a social process. That's why we use pitchforks, to make sure to get that message across: there are consequences for non-equivocally evil deeds.
I would suggest to, first, join your local Eco-social organizations. Normally the "take a gun a shoot a motherfucker" approach, while very satisfying to say, it's usually way less effective than organize with your community.
And while we are on destroying it, making a greener and more tolerant one ๐ ๐ ๐ณ๏ธโ๐
I always thought that architecture can play an interesting part in helping plan designs for affordable and regenerative housing. Most of the current designs are pretty shoddy because of the available materials, but some out-of-the-box thinking or maybe even rescuing some ancestral or aboriginal techniques could be really appreciated to find new ways to solve housing, water management, ergonomic design, leveraging social housing, etc.
I personally think you've chosen a real cool profession.
I read about this concept in a book about Ecofascism. The problem with that Malthusian way of thinking is this: Who will we leave behind? How are we gonna implement eugenics? Capitalists are a clear minority, and most of the global south seems to be an excellent target for answering that question.
A better way to look at the problem is to de-escalate and simplify. I mean, if you care about your fellow human beings.
Most of our work is already bullshit, and our industrial capacity (for the most part) can give us nice stuff. At the same time, we get rid of the high-polluting options. The world's population would self-regulate in horizontal societies just because everything has been that way historically. The phenomenon of hyper-poblation is a centralized-power thing.
OMG loved your project. Keep on sharing these experiences ! Hope to learn more about all this DIY stuff until I become a lot more self-reliant or collaborate with other people.
It depends, in a privacy-conscious way or as an investment? Because in the first term, Monero is totally cool for privacy. Because as an investment, en general crypto is ... ๐
