Thank you, yes I'm hoping to get a full 20 yrs out of it, but we shall see. Rust killed my father Land Cruiser before it hit 20, so I'm hoping I don't meet the same fate.

I think there's a huge percentage of truck drivers who never use their truck for truck stuff. It's simply a status symbol to them which is pathetic. And bigger equals better in their feeble minds.

I have a 13 yr old Tacoma and it's tiny compared to even the modern "small" trucks. When this thing finally dies, I have no idea what I'll get. I love the size of it though. Maybe a Ford Maverick, but those are on backorder for years I heard from several friends who tried to get one.

yeah I think it means ... ALL OF IT.

also double sucks because a lot of people have no choice but to use zoom. jobs require it.

1400 jobs are not open to the public.

Only 155 total in the entire federal gov are 1) open to the public and 2) remote.

LOL. I ran manjaro for about a year ... tried multiple times to get the brother printer driver installed. Never could do it. Just didn't print stuff for that year.

Every single other distro I've ever used has been able to add the brother printer over wifi and use it within minutes. On OpenSUSE now and works like a charm no issues.

So ... yep. Meme tracks!

I don't know, they are focusing a ton right now on re-releasing REALLY old mobile games, just with a plus symbol added to the name. That's polar opposite from premium high end titles. If they do want to go that direction they need to change course immediately!

And here I am imagining walking down the street one day and there’s a crazy hobo wandering around waving a vacuum cleaner in everyone’s face screaming “CAN YOU SEE THE SPIKES? ARE THEY THERE?”

And they had to make a bunch of posts and updates begging people to delete all saves and even completely uninstall the game. Hell, weeks ago they were flat out telling people not to even play it at all.

Which is all so silly. I really hope Valve took notice of all this, since it's such a huge release. They could definitely do with some improvements to this whole EA -> full release. Even as simple as having an option for two downloads (old EA version you can play now OR prerelease full version you cannot play until x time on y date).

Tesla had this exact functionality with their original Model S' ... but like that company it wasn't profitable (or it was just regular ol Tesla mismanagement) so they also stopped doing it.

LOL you can't even have a conversation with this name.

"Oh I've been watching this awesome new show, it's so good."

"oh yeah, where can I watch it?"

"max"

"...???..."

"it's on max"

"what? max what?"

"it's the old hbo, it's just max now though"

"hbo renamed themselves to max?"

"no ... but .... "

"okay nevermind"

I'm amazed they haven't already. I suppose it was baked in super hard from the very beginning so divorcing from it now must be a huge task.

hmmm yes I suppose that's true. Okay so let me rephrase: I'm amazed it's legal for a car manufacturer to even HAVE a TOS like that when you purchase a car. It shouldn't be legal to write language like "you are purchasing this but agreeing that you can't use it" ... wtf?
