Amazon gives absolutely zero fucks. There is a lotion that I need as a medical necessity, and EVERY. SINGLE. FUCKING. TIME. they fuck up my order: they send an expired one; the order gets delayed; the order FUCKING DISAPPEARS. Can I get this stuff in stores? Fuck no. Does the manufacturer sell it directly from their own website? Yes, BUT THEY SHIP IT USING AMAZON. If they don't give two shits about safety and timeliness when it comes to medical stuff, what makes you think they even remotely give a fuck about technological security? FUCK AMAZON AND FUCK JEFF BEZOS IN THE EYESOCKET WITH A CACTUS.

Well they own Ring doorbells too, which allowed for warrantless police access and also nearly burned peoples houses down so why would you be surprised about these?

You should never buy any IP security cameras unless they support ONVIF or RTSP. Then you stick them on their own isolated subnet with no internet access and use your own DVR to monitor them.

HomeKit Secure Video is a good option for people who need remote access to their video cameras
