Beehaw's community for socialists, communists, anarchists, and non-authoritarian leftists (this means anti-capitalists) of all stripes. A place for all leftist and labor news and discussion, as long as you're nice about it.

Non-socialists are welcome to come to learn, though it's hard to get to in-depth discussions if the community is constantly fighting over the basics. We ask that non-socialists please be respectful and try not to turn this into a "left vs right" debate forum by asking leading questions or by trying to draw others into a fight.

The Georgia attorney general accuses activists of being “racketeers,” “money launderers,” and even “domestic terrorists.” This ludicrous court case should be denounced by everyone who values their freedom.

Hopefully any sane Judge reading that indictment will find reasons to throw it out.

Well hopefully it gets put in front of a sane judge.

If they launched it, it's guaranteed they're gonna do it with a judge friendly to them

Judges protect the state like any other part of the fascist system. Doubtful they'll find a reason to be "sane" or otherwise reasonable to people acting to protect us against the state's own goons.

I guess it's a hope. Just don't count on it. The only people who are really here to protect us is us.
