They certainly didn't mind me working Remotely from the infusion chair and drunk on Benadryl. Twice.

Certainly didn't mind when I worked Remotely with food poisoning.

Mind you, it was likely easier to fire me than to allow me to work Remotely with my dying dog.

Oh, well. Unemployment will be my friend for a while. I've paid in long enough and I need a break. (Seriously, a respite from a lot.) I'm not lazy, just exhausted. Carried my marriage being the breadwinner and every relationship prior.

It's my time. They can fire me but they can pay my UI and rot in Hell while they allow my coworkers to get bombarded by extra work.

Other departments won't allow you to work Remotely with say, COVID, so an already stretched thin Team gets to pick up your slack. Oh, but on the team I was released from, their little prodigal son can go home with a tummy ache for two days and work Remotely.

Lots of hypocrisy and I'm ready to be out anyway. Hey, no more shitty immature insecure boss and I get paid to look up new and better positions. Win-win for me, you can kiss my ass Jack.
