Apple updated its Apple Maps on the web feature to add support for the Firefox browser this week. Firefox users on Mac, PC, and iPad can now visit Apple Maps on the web, and the site works as intended.

One change made:

if (browser.UserAgent == "Firefox") {
    const doesPageLoad = ~~false~~ true;
};

It only supports windows or Mac and not Linux. I changed user agent to windows and it supported.

Looking forward to have real competitor to Google maps.

Firefox fan here, this is awesome! Now Apple please let us use a real web browser in iOS, pretty please? Not just embedding a webkit view and calling it Firefox.

It works fine for years on all platforms when linked to a specific place. Now they also roll out a home page for everyday users.
