With gaming often bringing me into a really depressive headspace sometimes with how the markets are developing, whats a game you can always go to and just be lost in, or just be happy with?

Personally i would go for advance wars 1 and 2 on the gba (there is no remake and never will be)

the artstyle, the music, the game-play is just simple, yet effective, a sublime experience of very fun times.

Probably FTL. The game and the soundtrack are enthralling. I completely lose track of time playing it. But in a good way.

Edit: also Stardew Valley is my newest obsession.

Ftl is a good one, depending on skill and RNG you can have a short or long run of it. Always fun being forced to adapt different play styles depending on what you find

Yeah, I'm really bad at it, but I love it. I've only beat the final ship once or twice, on easy, lol.
