Your comment made me laugh internally, even though externally I merely huffed a bit.

For real, though, it's still impressive to me how well such a modern thing as a trading card game coexists seamlessly (or seamlessly enough) with a game that otherwise aims for (its particular brand of) seriousness/"realism"/immersive roleplay. I guess, logically, it's not so different than other blatantly gamey systems in otherwise 'realistic' games, but this one in particular feels to me like it should've been much more jarring than it actually ended up being.
